What is the East Central Florida Antiques on the Avenue festival?

The East Central Florida Antiques on the Avenue festival in Holly Hill is in its 4th year and continues to grow with several antique and collectible dealers and many visitors during the course of a spring weekend.  The festival takes place once a year at the beginning of April and may vary year to year, so be sure to check the site for future dates.

Why do the festival dates differ from year to year?

We are sensitive to Easter weekend and schedule around that traditional holiday.

What are the festival hours?

The festival is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

How large is the festival?

This is our 5th year and the number of vendors and patrons has increased annually.  We expect many dealers and thousands of visitors in 2008.  The festival is staged indoors the Recreation Center, 1046 Daytona Avenue and at Sica Hall, 1065 Daytona Avenue.  Parking for visitors is free and seeing everything is a leisurely stroll.

Is there an admission fee for visitors?

No.

May I buy something to eat or drink at the festival?

Yes.  There will be food concessionaires and drink vendors selling Coca-Cola products scattered throughout the entire venue.

Are there restroom facilities?

Yes, indoor restroom facilities are available inside Sica Hall and at the Recreation Center.

Are dogs/pets permitted?

Only a service dog/pet escorting its owner is allowed on festival premises; other pets are not permitted.

Are strollers and wheelchairs able to be used?

Yes, strollers and wheelchairs can maneuver just fine on the paved areas, the Recreation Center and inside Sica Hall.

Is public transportation available to the festival?

Votran has regular bus service along Ridgewood Avenue or your may hire a taxi cab.  Public transportation is available both Saturday and Sunday.

Are scooters, wheelchairs, bicycles, etc. available for rental?

Sorry, no rentals.

Where may I locate lodging?

Are there any shipping facilities available for items that I may purchase?

There is no on-site shipping, but some dealers will make shipping arrangements for you and UPS and FedEx stores are nearby and offer packing, boxes and packing supplies.  Contact the companies first, (www.theupsstore.com or www.fedex.com) before attempting to ship items.

Are you able to mail me festival brochures and visitor information?

We are unable to send brochures, guides or other information through the mail as the Antiques on the Avenue festival is an online enterprise.  Please contact the Holly Hill Chamber of Commerce for visitor information.

Can you evaluate or identify something for me?

No, we are not appraisers or experts of antiques/collectibles and are unable to help place a value or identify an item for you.  However, you may bring antique/collectible items and get opinions of value from accredited antique and collectible appraisers at Sica Hall, 1065 Daytona Avenue on Saturday, April 14, 2007.  A nominal fee applies for each piece evaluated.
